Sweet Mojo Weekend

Despite the unbearable 90+ temps and humidity we were experiencing here in South Eastern PA, I was able to muster up some time and mojo to stamp a few cards. I had a lot of fun with both the Mojo Monday Sketch and the Sweet Stop Sketch.

First up my card for the Sweet Stop Sketch. I didn't have any Sweet and Sassy stamps so I popped over to their online store and bought a few digital images. I used this cute little worm on a mushroom for my sketch card

I also like to add a personal touch on the inside of my cards. Here is the inside with a digital sentiment from digital set containing birds on a branch. I love this sentiment and will be using it again for sure.

I used some old stamps on these as well. The blue plaid is an old Stampin' Up background stamp called Stipple Plaid. I'm trying to use old stuff. Like the card stock. Cranberry Crisp, Summer Sun and Soft Sky all from Stampin' Up. The flower inside is a white daisy from a garland I bought years ago at Walmart. I colored it with a Copic marker to match the Cranberry Crisp card stock. Fun!

For the Mojo Monday Sketch I made a square card with a fun stamp from Paper Makeup Stamps. Love this techno Moody girl. :o)

I used More Mustard, Always Artichoke and Taken with Teal all from Stampin' Up. Again trying to use my old stuff. I added some mini pearls to the her necklace. and some fun lace, ribbon and flowers. I love this sketch and am hoping to have time to try it as the round card in the next few days.

CSS Sketch Blog Hop

Welcome to another Center Stage Spotlight Blog Hop. This time we are inspired by a sketch provided by Melissa Cash. If you just came from Miesje's blog you are on the right track. I know she had something amazing to share. If you were not following along, you can start at the beggining over at StampTV.com

Here is the sketch

I made two cards with this sketch. Here is my first card

Isn't that yellow rose trim gorgeous? I found it at a general goods store in Lancaster, PA. They had a wonderful selection of different laces and trims.
I stamped the sentiment and flowers on the tag using the set, Faithful Flowers.

And here is my next card

I used my Cricut to cut out the fun scalloped circles for the base. The stamped flowers are from Faithful Florals and the sentiment is from Fanciful Tags.

Now head over to Melissa's blog to see what she did with her sketch.
