Masculine Birthday - SSS199

Happy Saturday! Time for another Sweet Stop Sketch. Sorry my post is a little late because for some reason blogger decided not to save everything I typed up last night. Sigh! Anyway...

For this sketch I made a masculine card using the Timeless Classic stamp set.

I wanted to use a gear for the circle in the sketch. So I decided to go the Masculine route. I pulled out my World Traveler 6x6 pad by Theresa Collins and used some fun papers that I think go perfectly with the car image. I cut the keys, gear and arrow with my Silhouette Cameo. I used the keys on the silver cord in place of the bow. And the sketch is flipped because I put the gear on the wrong side of the card. I didn't realize it until after it was securely in place. LOL! It still works though.

It's your turn to show what you can do with the sketch this week. Head over to the Sweet Stop Sketch blog and add your link to a card or other project you make this week with the sketch. If you use Sweet N Sassy Stamps also make sure you upload it to the SplitCoastStampers.com gallery using the SNSS keywords found here. I am looking for a card to spotlight each week and there is a reward if you are in the spotlight. You can get the details over in the SNSS member forum.

Hip Hip Hooray - SNSDC93

Hip Hip Hooray! It's Friday! Time for another Sweet N Sassy Digi Challenge. This week we were challenged to make a card for a child. Korin has so many wonderful images in her Sweet N Sassy Stamps store that can be used for children's cards. My favorite set of images are of Rhubarb Bear. I fist fell in love with the images from her stamp company when she released those adorable Digital Stamps of Rhubarb the Bear. Of course I've expanded my collection to many images from SNSS, but he is still my favorite.

I used sweet little Rhubarb holding balloons and a little envelope sealed with a heart. Awww! The Digi Stamp is called Rhubarb's Balloons. The pattern paper is from Basic Grey Shine On 6x6 pad. I used the print and cut feature with my Silhouette Cameo to create the sentiment strips and to print and cut Rhubarb. Makes fussy cutting images a snap. The sentiment is from the Child Birthday Sentiments Digi set. The sketch is from Korin's Love Fest Sketch Challenge (LOVEFEST2013B) for Sweet N Sassy Stamps.

We would love to have you join us in this fun challenge. You can get all the details and see what the other Design Team members created over at the Sweet N Sassy Stamps Digi Challenge Blog.

Bee Cute - SSS198

Happy Saturday! Time for a 3 day weekend and another Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge. This week the sketch challenge has a twist. Use Birds or Bees with the sketch.

I used the Beary Cute Bee Happy Rhubarb Bear stamp dressed like a bee.

I have fun using some bright and retro looking pattern papers from an Amy Tangerine 6x6 paper pad. Added some fun black and yellow buttons and some ribbon. And there you have my Bee card for the sketch.

Now it is your turn to join us over at the Sweet Stop. Grab your supplies and play along. You can get all the details over on the Sweet Stop Sketch blog.

Spring is Almost Here - SNSDC92

Happy Friday! I am excited to share my first post as part of the Sweet N Sassy Stamps Digi Challenge Blog Design Team. And even more exciting are the new Digi Stamps that were released today. And one lucky person could win the entire Digi Stamp Release. One of the design team members' blogs is the mystery blog. And one lucky commenter from the blog will be randomly picked to win the release. So you will want to visit all of the blogs for the design team members and leave comments. You can get all the details and see images of the entire release over on the Sweet N Sassy Stamps Digi Challenge Release Blog.

The challenge for this week is to use
3 of something, 2 of something and  1 of something

I used a few of my favorites for the from the new release in the two cards I am sharing with you today.

For my first card I used 3 pennants on the banner, 2 different colors of twine, and 1 juicy carrot orange button. I used the adorable Jelly Bean's Carrot Digi Stamp and the sentiment is from the new Springtime Sentiments Digi Set.

For my second card I used 3 different pattern papers, 2 strips for the sentiment, and 1 lacy doily. I used Jelly Bean's Easter Egg and again the new Springtime Sentiments Digi Set.

This little Jelly Bean Bunny is just the cutest thing. And he is so much fun to color. For the bunnies and the sentiments I used the amazing Print & Cut feature with my Silhouette Cameo. What a perfect tool for Digi Stamps. The paper used on both is from the Basic Grey Fiction 6x6 pad.

Now it's your turn to join the fun. First you need to stop by the all the Design Team Members' blogs to see what they did with the challenge and new Digi Stamps and make sure you leave comments for a chance to win the Digi Stamp Release.

Then get creative with your Digi Stamps and make something that uses 3 of something, 2 of something, and 1 of something and share it over on the Sweet N Sassy Stamps Digi Challenge Blog.

You Are My Sunshine - SSS197

Welcome to another Saturday and another Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Card.

This sketch is perfect for showing off pattern papers and making simple cards. I pulled out one of the many 6x6 paper pads I bought during the Christmas shopping season. I found some fun prints that went well together and made this simple card. I stamped the flowers and the sentiment from the Happy Place clear stamp set directly on one of the pieces of pattern paper. I used some fun orange trim, turquoise ribbon and twine. I love the look of twine. Then I pulled out a little crocheted flower I made a few weeks ago. It matched the orange trim perfectly. Love when that happens.

Now it is your turn to make something with the sketch this week. Head over to the Sweet Stop Sketch blog to see what the rest of the Sugar Babies made and to get the details to join us.

Love You - SSS196

It's Saturday. Time to sleep in and time for another Sweet Stop Sketch challenge. Today is also the day that a little groundhog comes out of his hole and let's us know how much more winter we are having. Kind of a funny holiday. I am hoping he sees his shadow because I am enjoying winter and would like it to hang around for a little while. I know I am in the minority. :)

This challenge for some reason was a difficult for me. I had an idea in my head and this is sort of what it looked like.

I used the From the Bottom of My Heart set and matching Heart Dies to create all the hearts on this one. Lots of hearts on this one. The white embossed layer is some metallic white card stock. I really like the coral, red and white combo. Will have to use that one again soon.

Now it's your turn to join us. Head over to The Sweet Stop blog to see what the rest of the Sugar Babies have created with the sketch this week and to get the details to share your project made with the sketch. I pray you have a wonderful weekend.
