Happy Saturday! My favorite day of the week. And time for another Sweet Stop Sketch challenge.
I used the new Precious Poppies set to make my card. I stamped one of the poppy images in Old Paper distress ink on the tag and then stamped the wonderful scripture verse in Fired Brick distress ink. I used a piece of Basic Grey Kissing Booth 'Oh Darling' paper. Love the cute birds. I used my sewing machine for some stitching. The tan ribbon is seam binding I found at a fabric warehouse. The cool flower shaped button is from Wal-Mart. I tied it on with some cotton twine. I used a flower I had in my stash and some lace trim.
I hope you will play along and create something with the sketch this week. Please take a trip over to The Sweet Stop Sketch blog to get all the details and to see what the other Sugar Babies did with this sketch.
Have a fabulous weekend!

Beautiful card Melissa. Love the verse and the pretty paper. The lace and flower embellishments are lovely.
How beautiful! Love the verse and your bow is gorgeous!
Melissa, I love the Old World look to your creation. What a great idea to stamp lightly the poppy stamp and create your own background paper, thanks for the idea. T
