StampTV CSS Color Challenge

This month the CSS Alumni group is doing a Color Challenge based on this photo

The colors are Pink, Purple and Green.

If are following along the hop, you just came from Kay's blog. If not, you can start the hop here at StampTV and see what everyone from the CSS group did with these fabulous colors.
My card is actually huge, 5 1/4" x 9 1/2". To see it up close you can click the picture above.

I used pattern papers from a Stella Rose pad by MME that I bought yesterday. There are some great patterns with greens and pinks. The purple paper is from K&Company's Sweet Nectar pad.  I also added a bit of blue-green for the "sky" behind my hanging onesies and pennants.  I used  Wee Tees and Perfect Pennants. The grass, banner and small green pennants were cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  I added some purple/white baker's twine, some silver brads and a purple button.  The "clothespins" are small pieces of Kraft card stock.

Now hop on over to Miesje's blog to see gorgeous project she has to inspire you with.  And don't forget to comment on each blog along the way for a chance to win a grab bag full of stamps. Thursday, June 12th the random winner will be announced over at StampTV.  Good Luck and have a great weekend.

Doodle Bug Baby

Another card made with the cute little onesie set from Gina K Designs called Wee Tees. I colored the inner layer of the onesie with white gel pen to simulate soft fleece or cotton lining. I guess this could be for a boy or a girl since the color scheme is green and white, yet there are flowers. LOL! I've had both papers for a little while and decided I needed to use some. I like how the words from Hip Hop Accessories can be used to co-ordinate with this set.

Stamps: Wee Tees & Hip Hop Accessories {Gina K Designs}
Paper: Pure Luxury White {Gina K Designs}, Bazzil green, pattern paper {unknown}
Ink: Bamboo Leaves {Memento}
Other: Wild Wasabi Ribbon {SU}, silver button brads {MM}, white gel pen

Super Star Bookmark

Donna is hosting the 3-D challenge over at StampTV.com. She challenged us to make a bookmark. I decided to make a corner bookmark. Here is my submission for the challenge.

I stamped the sweatshirt from Just So Sporty on Bazzil Bling green card stock using Wild Wasabi ink. I used white chalk ink and white embossing powder for the Super Star phrase from Little Tees. I used some really cool Light Effects DMC floss to stitch around two of the edges and for the dangling beads. I found the stuff in my stash. I must have bought it a long a long time ago and forgot I had it. I bet that never happens to you. ;o) LOL! The pattern paper is Basic Grey Offbeat and Cupcake. I also added a bunch of red and blue dew drops around the top triangle.

I added this cute little alien stamp from WeeTees set on the back of the bookmark. I used some more Light Effects DMC floss around the edge of the scalloped circle.

I guess I need to start reading so I can use it. I don't really read much because I would rather be stamping.

Stamps: Wee Tees, Just So Sporty, Little Tees
Paper: Bazzil Bling green, Basic Grey Offbeat and Cupcake, Pure Luxury White
Ink: Versafine White Chalk Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Wild Wasabi & Barely Banana

Baby Boy Announcement

Although I have no children nor do I know anyone that has a baby, I just can't stop making fun little cards with the Wee Tees set from Gina K Designs. I think my favorite image to put on the onesie is the little teddy bear. Isn't he so cute? I colored the teddy's with a Prismacolor pencil and blended with baby oil. I also used a white Prismacolor pencil on for the hands, feet, ears and inside the onesie. It really stands out on the Kraft card stock. The card base is Gina K Designs' latest Pure Luxury color Chocolate Kiss. The name is so yummy and so is the super thick card stock.

Now I need to get busy making a Mother's Day card. And I sure wish this sinus infection would go away. It is really messing with my stampin' mojo. Sigh!

Stamps: Wee Tees
Paper: Chocolate Kiss Pure Luxury, Baja Breeze, Kraft
Ink & Coloring Medium: Memento Rich Cocoa & Tuxedo Black, Baja Breeze, Prismacolor pencils & baby oil with blending stump
Accessories: Dew Drops, buttons, hemp, brown grosgrain ribbon, nestabilities, colluzzle

Babies and Chocolate

I received my first real baby stamp set today. I don't have children of my own and never really stamped when my niece was a baby. So I never had a need for a baby set. But last week Gina K Designs came out with the cutest set ever. Melanie design this adorable Wee Tee set for GKD and it is fabulous. It is no secret that I absolutely adore her first two Tee sets. The Wee Tee set is just as fun. I had to have it. There are so many cute little images and words to go with the set. I think my favorite is the word "stinker". I need to use that on something very soon.

I stamped the onesie onto this adorable patterned paper. I decided to stamp baby and stitch it to make it look like an embroidered onesie. I also stitched the outline of the flower on the sleeve. Before I stitched it I reinforced the back with some clear tape. This made it study enough to stitch. I went a little crazy with the buttons. Very fun! LOL! I hope you enjoy it.

And then there is CHOCOLATE. The card base is NEW Pure Luxury Chocolate Kiss 120# card stock. It is amazing. It is darker than chocolate chip and twice as thick. Absolutely love it!

Stamps: Wee Tees, Bold Flowers
Paper: Chocolate Kiss, Kraft, Real Red
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Tea Dyed, Riding Hood Red
