I took my inspiration from the big flowers on the bottom right hand corner.
If you've not come from Lori's blog, you will want to start at the beginning over at StampTV and make sure you take time to see what everyone on the team has to share with us.
Next on the hop is Miesje. I know she will have something awesome to share.
Here are the deets about how I constructed this:
I first cut a circle using a Spellbinders die from white card stock.
I stamped the circle frame with Vivid Chocolate Ink.
After allowing the chocolate ink to dry, I stamped the lace doily from Nana's Needlework with VersaMark ink. And then embossed it with clear embossing powder.
I sponged orange onto the outer part. I sponged read along the edge. And I sponged brown in the center.
I colored the lace trim with a red Copic marker and adhered it around the perimeter of the circle.
I sprayed the paper doily with some green glitter mist.
After everything was dry, I layered them together using foam tape to give it dimension.
I added some pearls and a button.
I stamped the sentiment from Nana's Needlework Sentiments onto some white and sponged with the same orange and red. I layered it onto a tag die and added a few brown peals.
