Sunday Stampin' Fun

I had the whole weekend to stamp. Yeah! I mostly caught up with blogs and surfed the web for inspiration Saturday. But after a few hours last night and this afternoon, I have a few cards to show for it.

First up I made a card for both the CPS Sketch Challenge and the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge. I used the sketch from CPS and for my new item for the Stampin' Sisters In Christ challenge I purchased this fabulous digi paper from Amber Ink yesterday. I love the bright colors and the fun circles. The best part about this paper is that I can print as many sheets as I want. So I have no paper hoarding issues. LOL!  Here is my card:

I even cut out some of the circles and popped them up on foam tape to add dimension to the flower centers. That fun flower stamp is also fairly new. I bought it a few weeks ago and finally had an opportunity to use it. It is from Hampton Art and is called Fab Flowers. Love that name :o)  The sentiment is a dollar stamp from G Studios. I think I found it at Michael's a few months ago. I colored the different letters with different colors to match the colors in the paper.  The flowers are paper pieced. I stamped them on a piece of the digi paper and cut the whole thing out as one piece. I thought is added a fun effect. It may be hard to see in the photo, but I added a ton of small white pearls in the centers of the larger circles. Love the bling. :o)
