MMSC3 - Eclectic Sketch Challenge
A very kind woman over at SCS commented on my card and asked me to check out a new challenge blog, Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. This is the third week. I decided to give the sketch a try. I used a stamp from Gina K Designs new StampTV Kit Eclectic Summer. I stamped the image on Pure Luxury White base weight card stock and colored the image with Prismacolor colored pencils, baby oil and blending stumps. The card base is Marigold Morning {SU Retired}. The pattern paper is Basic Grey Urban Prairie. I did a little stitching with my sewing machine and added a few accents to complete the sketch. Here is a link to the sketch.
Stamps: Eclectic Summer {Gina K}
Paper: Pure Luxury White, Basic Grey - Urban Prairie, Marigold Morning {SU Retired}
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
With A Cherry and Whipped Cream On Top
My favorite image from the Free With Three set is this bowl of Ice Cream. I love ice cream! And nothing says summer better than cooling off with a bowl of three scoops and some whipped cream on top.
I stamped the bowl of ice cream with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Pure Luxury white card stock. I colored the image with Prismacolor colored pencils, baby oil and blending stumps. I added some Stickles to the scoops of ice cream to make them glimmer. I also added white liquid applique to the top of the ice cream and heated it with a heat gun. It looks like yummy whipped cream. Then I topped it off with a red dew drop for the cherry. I used some pink card stock from the first StampTV Kit and the pattern paper is from Basic Grey. I used the sketch from CPS-Card Sketches - CPS117.
Below is a photo of the inside. I used the same paper and card stock. I added some Prima flowers with button centers.
Have a Super Sunday and don't forget to count your blessings.
Stamps: Lazy Days of Summer
Paper: Pure Luxury White, Basic Black, pink {unknown}, Basic Grey Urban Prairie
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Other: blue rhinestone stickers, black gingham ribbon, Prima flowers, white hemp, buttons, word window punch, Prismacolor colored pencils, baby oil and blending stumps, Swiss Dots CB Embossing Folder

Birthday Fish
This fish card was born out of scraps on my stamping table. I had the piece of digital paper printed out and the circle already cut out to use on something else. Then I noticed the fish I had colored earlier matches the beautiful teal paper. And the cut out circle looked like a window. So I cut the card base from a color I have not used in years, Gable Green. It looks amazing with the teal paper. I also had a scrap of transparency on my table as well. I put that between the layer of paper and card stock to make a window. I added the faux stitches with a white gel pen and then decided I needed a lot of dew drops for the bubbles. The bottom was bare at first until I noticed my white ric-rac. Looks like seaweed at the bottom of the ocean. I hope you enjoy my fish card. Have a super Saturday.
Stamps: Eclectic Summer & Eclectic Summer Sayings
Paper: Pure Luxury White & Digital Paper { Gina K Designs}, Gable Green {SU}

Gina K Designs - Preview Day Four
Today I am sharing a card I made using the Free With Three set, Lazy Days of Summer. What a fun summer set. I chose to use the three ocean/beach themed images. I colored each with Prismacolor colored pencils, baby oil, and blending stumps. I kept the layout and layers for this one very simple. That beautiful ribbon is from the new Eclectic Summer Kit. And so are the little silver brads. I added dashes with my white gel pen to make the main panel pop.
This is the final day of Previews. Please join the Pre-Release Party tonight in Gina K Designs forum from 7 - 10 pm CST. Lots of chatting, plenty of previews and fun challenges!
And many of you asked for a tutorial for the basket. I will be sharing that in the next few days.

Gina K Designs - Preview Day Three
Today is the day to preview the NEW StampTV Kit "Eclectic Summer". This kit is amazing. Since the kit is packed with fun summer stamps, beautiful card stock, ribbon and brads; I decided to show you TWO projects out of the many that I've made with this kit.
First is a little basket I made by weaving strips of the red card stock.
I then stamped the flower image from the set onto Pure Luxury white base weight card stock. I cut them out using a Nestabilities flower die. I colored them with Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and blending stumps. I trimmed them and cut each petal apart to the center of the flower. I mounted them on some nave wire that I've had stashed for years. (Note to self, I need to use this on more projects with this kit!) The ribbon, white brads and sentiment are also from the kit.
Here is a close-up of the tag and the weave of the basket.
Would you like a tutorial on making this basket? I am thinking about making one if you are interested. Please leave a comment if you are interested.
To stay with the red, white & blue theme I am sharing a quick and simple balloon card I also made with the kit.
Everything I used to make this card is from the kit except the pencils, baby oil, and sewing thread. Yeah, I actually dusted off my sewing machine and stitched some of the layers.
I love, love, love this kit. I know I will be using the stamps in this set often. And the card stock & ribbon are so luxurious.
Now go check out the rest of the previews and get ready to party on Thursday night 7 - 10 CST in the Gina K Designs Member Forum on SplitCoastStampers.com.

Gina K Designs - Preview Day Two
I chose to preview With This Ring by Rupa Shevde for Day Two. I love her classic art style. And this set is such a fabulous go to set for all of your wedding and anniversary cards. I also like that it contains a Bible verse that could be used for other projects as well.
When I first saw this set, I was drawn to the cake image. I love looking at wedding cakes. Every time I make a wedding card I end up using Soft Sky, Silver or Gray and a lot of White. Here is the final result for my preview of With This Ring:
I used base weight Pure Luxury White for the card base. The size is 5" x 5". I used layering weight Pure Luxury for the cake and the embossed die cut piece. I used brushed silver from Stampin' Up for the silver matte. I colored the flowers on the cake with Copic Markers, BG10 & BG93. I used a silver sakura stardust pen for the small balls at the base of the first and second layers of the cake and to dot the inside of each of the flowers on the cake. The flower accent is from Gina K Designs White Flower pack. I tied some white DMC embroidery thread to the button and attached it to the flower center with glue dots.
Now for the inside of the card. I wanted to keep it simple. Here is a close-up of the inside of the card:
I used more brushed silver and stamped the rings with VersaMark ink. Then embossed the image with silver embossing powder. I very carefully trimmed them and attached them with foam tape to give them dimension. I added little rhinestones to the other three corners.
I hope you enjoyed my preview of With This Ring. I would love to hear what you think; please feel free to leave a comment. For the entire ingredient list scroll to the bottom of this post.

Gina K Designs Preview - Day One
It is the first day of Previews for Gina K Designs May Release. I am so excited to be the Spotlight designer.
The preview set for Monday was designed by the one and only Melanie Muenchinger. This set goes perfectly with the Just So Sporty set. It is fabulous! There are so many sports covered in this set.
As soon as I saw the images the idea of putting something inside the locker popped into my head instantly. Here is the result:
I stamped the locker onto brushed silver card stock to make them look like metal lockers. I cut open one of the doors and popped the whole set up using foam tape. I also added a little shelf on the inside to hold the baseball. I used the circle cuttlebug embossing folder to go along with the ball theme for baseball. After I put the whole thing together, I realized I forgot the mitt. so I had to decorate the inside with the mitt and a few balls. Here it is:
This is such a fun set and I know that sports fans will find so many uses for this set. I have another sample made that I will share on Thursday night. I hope to see you all at the release party Thursday night. Until then please stop by every day to see a preview of each set being released.

Doodle Bug Baby
Another card made with the cute little onesie set from Gina K Designs called Wee Tees. I colored the inner layer of the onesie with white gel pen to simulate soft fleece or cotton lining. I guess this could be for a boy or a girl since the color scheme is green and white, yet there are flowers. LOL! I've had both papers for a little while and decided I needed to use some. I like how the words from Hip Hop Accessories can be used to co-ordinate with this set.
Stamps: Wee Tees & Hip Hop Accessories {Gina K Designs}
Paper: Pure Luxury White {Gina K Designs}, Bazzil green, pattern paper {unknown}
Ink: Bamboo Leaves {Memento}

Smart Cookie
I had a scrap of this Bake Off paper laying on my table. I made a card using the paper as inspiration. The cookie jar and background paper is made from recycled coffee filters. I bought the paper when I first started stamping and haven't used it for a long time. You know how that goes, right? The coffee filter paper goes great with the pattern paper. I stamped several images from Have a Cookie with Baja Breeze ink onto the background coffee filter paper. And then lightly (stamping off once) stamped the chocolate chip cookie in Potter's Clay ink.
Stamps: Have A Cookie
Paper: Really Rust & Baja Breeze {SU}, Pure Luxury Ivory, coffee filter paper {unknown}, Bake Off {Flair Designs}
Ink: Rich Cocoa & Potters Clay {Memento}, Baja Breeze {SU}
Accessories: button, dew drops, Electric Effects DMC floss, striped ribbon

Pretty in Pink
I bought this pretty pink and white fabric the other weekend. The pattern is butterflies and flowers. It's been sitting on my counter top in my stamp studio and I finally decided to use some.
I thought the fabric would make a fun little tee. So I cut a little square out of the fabric and adhered it to some Pure Luxury card stock. I stamped the little tee outline stamp onto the fabric using pink chalk ink. Adding the card stock made it sturdy enough to trim and mount onto my card. I also cut around one of the medium sized butterflies in the fabric. I mounted it to the same card stock and trimmed it. I used some foam tape on the body of the butterfly to mount it to the tee.
I also had my sewing my machine out to do some sewing for church. So I thought I should use it for some cards. :o) I chose a really neat zig-zag stitch that is made up of smaller stitches. I'm not sure if you can see the detail or not.
Stamps: Little Tees
Paper: Rose Red {SU}, Pure Luxury White {Gina K}, Playful Petals - Lucy {Daisy Bucket Designs}
Ink: Rouge Chalk Ink {Colorbox}, Pear Tart {Memento}
Accessories: pink brads, ribbon sewing machine & white thread

Super Star Bookmark
Donna is hosting the 3-D challenge over at StampTV.com. She challenged us to make a bookmark. I decided to make a corner bookmark. Here is my submission for the challenge.
I stamped the sweatshirt from Just So Sporty on Bazzil Bling green card stock using Wild Wasabi ink. I used white chalk ink and white embossing powder for the Super Star phrase from Little Tees. I used some really cool Light Effects DMC floss to stitch around two of the edges and for the dangling beads. I found the stuff in my stash. I must have bought it a long a long time ago and forgot I had it. I bet that never happens to you. ;o) LOL! The pattern paper is Basic Grey Offbeat and Cupcake. I also added a bunch of red and blue dew drops around the top triangle.
I added this cute little alien stamp from WeeTees set on the back of the bookmark. I used some more Light Effects DMC floss around the edge of the scalloped circle.
I guess I need to start reading so I can use it. I don't really read much because I would rather be stamping.
Stamps: Wee Tees, Just So Sporty, Little Tees
Paper: Bazzil Bling green, Basic Grey Offbeat and Cupcake, Pure Luxury White
Ink: Versafine White Chalk Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Wild Wasabi & Barely Banana
Other Stuff: White Embossing Powder, Marvy Scallop Circle Punch, Dew Drops, Beads, DMC Light Effects Green & Blue Floss

Baby Boy Announcement
Although I have no children nor do I know anyone that has a baby, I just can't stop making fun little cards with the Wee Tees set from Gina K Designs. I think my favorite image to put on the onesie is the little teddy bear. Isn't he so cute? I colored the teddy's with a Prismacolor pencil and blended with baby oil. I also used a white Prismacolor pencil on for the hands, feet, ears and inside the onesie. It really stands out on the Kraft card stock. The card base is Gina K Designs' latest Pure Luxury color Chocolate Kiss. The name is so yummy and so is the super thick card stock.
Now I need to get busy making a Mother's Day card. And I sure wish this sinus infection would go away. It is really messing with my stampin' mojo. Sigh!
Stamps: Wee Tees
Paper: Chocolate Kiss Pure Luxury, Baja Breeze, Kraft
Ink & Coloring Medium: Memento Rich Cocoa & Tuxedo Black, Baja Breeze, Prismacolor pencils & baby oil with blending stump
Accessories: Dew Drops, buttons, hemp, brown grosgrain ribbon, nestabilities, colluzzle
